I use a Parrot Pottery steamer made in Carmel Valley and available at the Aptos and MPC Farmer's Market. It's a beautiful pot and goes directly from pot to serving on the table.

Ingredients
  • 1 Bunch broccoli
  • ½ head cauliflower
  • 2 sprigs fresh dill or 2 pinches dried dill
Instructions
  1. Cut the broccoli and cauliflower into similarly sized flowers, chop the dill. Put the vegetables in the steamer with the herb.
  2. Put water in your pot, putting the steamer with the vegetables and lid on top. Steam for 8 minutes for a tender crisp vegetable.
