There’s nothing better than chard freshly picked from the garden and sautéed.

Ingredients
  • 1 Bunch or more of multi colored chard cleaned and chopped*
  • 2 tbls or more olive oil
  • sprinkle nutmeg
  • salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Chop the chard. Heat a very large sauté pan with olive oil.
  2. Place the chopped chard in the pan, stirring every few minutes until the chard leaf is tender and the stem is still crisp.
  3. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Serve quickly.
Recipe Notes

Any fresh chard can be used, but a mixture is colorful, the red chards tend to be sweeter and the bitter, tart and sweet flavors are balanced.
