Ingredients
- ½ Quart of white vinegar
- 1 ½ lbs crisp cooking apples diced
- ½ lb mangos peeled and sliced preserved are okay
- 8 oz brown sugar
- 2 small red chilies minced
- ½ pound Malaga raisins chopped
- ½ lb preserved ginger minced
- ½ lb preserved lemon peel minced
- 1 clove garlic crushed
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp dried mustard
- 1 tbsp ground ginger
Instructions

Bring the vinegar to a boil and add the apples. Simmer for 4 – 5 minutes. Add all the remaining ingredients. Return to the heat and simmer for 8 more minutes. While still hot, pack the chutney into sterilized pint glass jars. Cover and allow to cool at room temperature.
