Ingredients
Kita’s Simple Cake
- 1 C Sugar
- 3 Eggs
- 1 Tbl Oil or Butter
- 1 C Cake Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 C Milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla
Topping
- 3 Tbl Melted Butter
- 5 Tbl Brown Sugar
- 1/8 tsp Salt
- 1/2 C Shredded Coconut
- 2 Tbl Cream
Instructions

Gather your ingredients

Add the sugar and vanilla to the eggs beating until mixed. Add the sifted dry ingredients. Heat milk and butter to a boil, add all at once, stirring well.
Pour into a greased 8” cake pan baking 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

While baking, prepare the topping.

Stir all ingredients together until mixed.

Take the cake from the oven after testing its doneness. Spread with topping while the cake is still warm.
